Inspectors - Technical Details

Scheduling Functionality:

1. Home sellers sign in and select 3 times they are available: morning OR afternoon for any day in the future.

2. Our system randomly selects 2 inspectors, and each is sent an email informing them of an inspection request.

3. These 2 inspectors have 4 hours to accept one of the 3 times.

4. If neither inspector has accepted the appointment after 4 hours, 2 more inspectors are randomly selected and emailed. Now all 4 have the opportunity to accept the appointment. After 4 more hours, 2 more inspectors are emailed, and the process continues until one inspector accepts the appointment request.

* This system gives each inspector an equal opportunity to accept an appointment. If you decline the request, or simply don’t respond, your name goes back in the queue for random selection for other inspection requests.

ClearHouse uses a standardized pricing structure, based on the local market, square footage and property features.

Payment:

We collect payment from clients and mail checks to inspectors on a weekly basis for all inspections completed in the previous week. Inspectors are paid the price of the inspection less credit card processing fees (3%).
